What we collect
When you enquire, we receive the contact details, project information and files you choose to submit. We use these to understand your idea, prepare a quotation, communicate with you and, if you place an order, design, make and deliver the agreed work. Please do not include sensitive personal information in your files.
Why we use your information
We process enquiry and order information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform any contract we make with you. We may retain transaction and accounting records to meet legal obligations. We use limited technical and security information where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website.
Storage and service providers
Enquiries, attachments and basic website event counts are stored using Cloudflare hosting, database and storage services. Access is restricted to authorised studio users. Cloudflare operates a global network and may process information outside the UK using its contractual transfer safeguards. You can read Cloudflare's privacy information.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not become orders, including their uploaded reference files, are kept for up to 12 months. Customer, order, contract and invoice records are kept for up to six years. Files connected with a commissioned order may be retained with that order record. Basic anonymous website event records are kept for up to 12 months.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, restriction, portability or deletion of your personal information, or object to certain processing, by emailing hello@thejollyoddities.co.uk. Some information may need to be retained where the law requires it. We do not use enquiry details for unsolicited marketing.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
